HWLH News Letter for April 2020 - Issue #0077 - Helping Each Other During the Coronavirus Crisis March 31, 2020 |
Welcome to HWLH News LetterApril 2020 - Issue # 077 - Helping Each Other During the Coronavirus CrisisHi Everyone The world sure has changed in this last month and we certainly have been thrown extra challenges to deal with these days. I’m trying to keep my spirits high, not only for myself but for my family members, friends and acquaintances; we must try and stay positive until this crazy virus crisis is over. It seems like the whole world has shut down, locked its doors and have forced us to stay in our homes which can feel overwhelming at times. And then there are those who are on the front lines to help us battle this epidemic that are not able to stay safely at home. To all the doctors, nurses and ALL health care professionals and to all the people who work with ambulance, police and fire services that are putting their lives at risk to help us through this time; from our family to yours, WE WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU. There are also many other people who put themselves at risk, people that work in places that haven’t shut down such as supermarkets, pharmacies, food banks and many other essential places still open to help us. WE WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANKS TO YOU TOO. I pray this storm will be over soon
For those of you who are at home on lock down here is a list of some suggestions that our viewers have sent in to help pass the time, hope some of these suggestions will inspire or motivate. Things you can do if you are at home on lock down Meditation Yoga Learn a new language Reading Write something (perhaps you have a skill you didn’t know you had?) Playing board games Cooking (perhaps homemade soup) Puzzles Knitting Sewing projects Painting Hand crafts Online tutoring Scrap booking Spring cleaning or reorganizing closets and cupboard that you have been putting off What about Exercise? If you’re not under total lock down, then going for a walk or jog outside can be the perfect solution to get some exercise. God Bless and take care of yourselves and each other Until next time...
